Fruitale Idola Buah Hati is back!

KOTA KINABALU: Are you an excellent singer who has been confined to your bathroom or shower due to lack of opportunity?

Unleash your talent on to a wider audience on the national stage through the Fruitale Idola Buah Hati 2 jingle singing contest to win national acclaim and RM5,000 in cash.

Fruitale, the young, vibrantly trendy beauty soap range with 100% natural fruit extract is proud to announce the return of the Idola Buah Hati 2 jingle singing contest that encourages talented Malaysians to capture their experience of singing in the shower through a challenging format that requires them to capture the magic within just one minute on stage.

Contestants need to express their feelings towards Fruitale soaps through their songwriting skills to accompany the instrumental version of the Fruitale jingle in one of four genres: rock, pop, rap/R&B or reggae. Entries for the regional level contests can be submitted through Fruitale’s Facebook fan page or contestants can attend the ‘live’ auditions.

Popular recording artiste Marsha will be the main judge at the regional rounds of the exciting contest that will be held on June 25, 2011 at City Mall Sabah, Kota Kinabalu from 4.00pm to 5.30pm where the top three performers will be selected to perform at the finals, which will be held at the Grand Concourse of Mydin Hypermarket USJ on July 30, 2011.

Fruitale has added a twist to this year’s contest by giving the general public the power to vote for the 12 shortlisted contestants, only eight of whom will make it to the finals.

Malaysian superstars Dafi and Marsha will judge and mentor the finalists giving them valuable input and guidance on developing their singing and songwriting talents.

Malaysian singing sensation, Marsha was delighted to one of the judges of the Fruitale Idola Buah Hati 2 singing contest.

"I’m really excited about meeting the contestants and fans across Malaysia during the regional rounds of the Fruitale Idola Buah Hati 2 contest. I have some new performances planned for them and am anticipating the talents who will be performing ‘live’. I would suggest that the public mark the dates for the regional rounds and make it a point to participate and support their favorites," Marsha said.
