MEMBERS of the public are invited for a preview session of the ‘Miss Sabah Malaysia Model of The World’ this Saturday, June 25, at Centre Atrium, 1Borneo Hypermall, starting at 1.30 pm.
According to its organising chairperson, Anna Badai, the organiser will give away dinner tickets to the lucky audience who can answer questions regarding the pageant.
"During the preview, there will be a special appearance by the 12 finalists vying for the Miss Sabah Malaysia Model of The Model title adorning fashionable and casual wear from Parkson 1Borneo," she said in a statement in Kota Kinabalu, Friday.
The finalists are Airine Anthony, Audrey Mu, Chang Kah Yee, Christini Loo Ai Ling, Cindy Foo See Mei, Julia Buni, Femela Liyong, Frederica Fabian Peter, Ho Jane Yee, Martha Kail, Noemi Halima Dingle Ligunjang and Tham Ching Teng.
Attractive prizes are up for grabs, whereby the winner, first runner-up and second runner-up will receive cash prizes RM5,000, RM3,000 and RM1,000, respectively. The top two winners will represent Sabah to the national level, which is expected to be held in Perak in July 2011. The reigning queen of Miss Malaysia Model of The World is Miss Marie Bibiana Baxter from Sabah.
"Four subsidiary titles will be offered, namely Miss Most Popular Model, Miss Best Catwalk, Miss Body Beautiful Model and Most Photogenic Model," she added.
