Double Take to perform at STS 13 April

DOUBLE TAKE... Roger and Mia

GUITARIST Roger Wang and jazz-pop songstress Mia Palencia, will perform in the Sabah Theological Seminary (STS) auditorium on April 13.

The concert in Kota Kinablu is a charity event in aid of the St. Simon Educational Complex Learning Centre. This Centre was formed to assist full-time pupils with various learning difficulties.

The Learning Centre covers all three schools in the St. Simon Educational Complex - the preschool, the primary and the secondary. Each section operates separately and will benefit according to need.

Principal of the Learning Centre, Datin Amy-Jean Yee, said, “These difficulties are not so severe that the pupil cannot attend a normal school but are such that he or she has considerable difficulty participating in normal classroom tasks for several subjects. These pupils need special help to cope with the demands of school work and the Centre aims to give them the education they need within a normal school environment.”
